Flipping heck it’s rainy out there!
Welcome to my studio news, from a very wet and windy Meldreth! ![]() A good friend of mine, and also a talented artist has encouraged me to be more experimental with my backgrounds! It’s important to push yourself creatively, and he is quite right, it lends a certain depth and interest to the piece. It’s so important to take advice and grow as an artist, and I have many people around me who help me do just that.See my new work here ![]() if you haven’t done already I would really appreciate a Facebook like on each product. The top 12 artists get voted on at a huge homeware trade fair and the competition closes next week. The prize for the winner is immense, and the standard so high I’m going to need all the help I can get! 😂 click on the bird on the cushion and he will take you there ! ![]() ![]() We went to great length with almost everyone I know being asked to choose high paper to use for them, and which designs too! I hope you like them, they are luxury but made from sustainable paper and so far the feedback has been excellent! the cards are available for £2.50 each, 3 for £6 or 6 for £10 https://www.accidentalartist.co.uk/store/p41/Greetingscardsmixandmatch6pack.html#/ The competition will be drawn on 16th July! Watch this space and good luck! ![]() ![]() ![]() “Enchanted words arts” has now officially retired, and “ The Accidental Artist” is now going strong, my decision to focus just on my painting has been the right one so far and I’m loving seeing what pops onto the paper more and more! I am hoping to be represented in a few exhibitions over the autumn, and I’m in talks about being stocked in some local businesses too! There are also are secret talks in quiet corners about a little local exhibition of my own! Shhhhh! It’s a secret!! But do look out for news about that! Until next time.... Jo xx
